The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 in a shootout at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday, spoiling goalie Marc-Andre Fleury’s return from a two-month absence.Marcus Kruger and Trevor van Riemsdyk scored for the Hurricanes (12-11-7), who ended a four-game losing streak (0-2-2) playing the second game of a back-to-back. Goaltender Cam Ward made 22 saves for his 300th NHL win.
