Friends star Jessica Hecht recently remembered her late co-star Matthew Perry affectionately. “He was so silly when he was young, and he was so easy to love,” the actress told Page Six at Manhattan Theatre Club’s 2023 Fall Gala.

Jessica played Susan Bunch, the wife of Ross Geller’s ex Carol Willick, in Friends. She revealed that her favourite episode of the NBC sitcom was Season 2’s The One With the Breast Milk. Ross (David Schwimmer), Chandler Bing Perry (Perry), and Carol (Jane Sibbett), were disgusted at Carol’s (Jane Sibbett’s) breastfeeding in this episode. “His [Perry’s] was the silliest attempt to taste the breast milk,” Jessica said. “I just remember how kind he was and how he tried to make everyone else at ease.”

Jessica said that Perry also. “was kinder to other people [than himself], as many people are who suffer from addiction and all of that — just desperate for other people to be relieved from the pain that they feel.”

Perry was found dead in the hot tub of his home in Pacific Palisades neighbourhood on Saturday 28th October. He was found dead just after 4:00 pm in the hot-tub of his Pacific Palisades home. Initial toxicology results were negative for fentanyl or meth. The cause of his death is not yet known. “deferred,” Reports.

Before his death, Perry had planned to continue helping people who were suffering from drug abuse. According to PEOPLE, the actor had planned to create a foundation that would help people who struggle with addiction. He had earlier founded Perry House, a men’s sober living facility. It lasted two years.

Perry has struggled with drug addiction throughout his life. Perry had also spoken out about his journey to sobriety. In October 2022, he revealed that at age 49, he was almost dead due to his drug addiction and had been in a coma for 2 weeks. Then, he spent five months in hospital and a year with a colostomy after his colon ruptured from overusing opioids.
