Jalen Bruson began his NBA career by playing the first four seasons with the Dallas Mavericks.
Brunson has improved slowly but his growth spurt was in the NBA season 2022-2023 when he became a New York Knick.
Brunson’s arrival helped the Knicks finally become a competitive team in the Eastern Conference.
Brunson, who led the Knicks to a 12-7 Eastern Conference record after a commendable postseason run in 2023, has now helped them achieve a 12-7 record.
One of the best aspects of Brunson’s game this season is drawing charges.
How much has Brunson’s game improved over the course of an offseason? Fred Katz revealed on Twitter that the Knicks’ star was on track to record the most offensive fouls and charges in a season.
He is on pace to break both the records for the most fouls and charges in a season (since the tracking began 10-years ago) as well as the most offenses in a season (since the tracking started 20-years ago). https://t.co/knF4k02PuQ

Now, that’s an impressive stat by Brunson, as no player has ever done what he is doing this season.
Brunson averages 24.9 points, 3. 7 rebounds, and 5. 5 assists per game this season for the Knicks.
He’s also shooting an impressive 46.7% from the field and 47.2% from the three-point line.
If Brunson is able to continue at this level through the remainder of the season, New York Knicks might be a darkhorse contender for the NBA Championship 2024.
The Knicks won their last three games, and they are currently 7-3.
The Knicks’ next appearance in the NBA will be at the NBA In-Season Tournament.
They will face the Milwaukee Bucks at the quarter-finals.
