Well-known actress Scarlett Johansson has officially joined the cast of Jurassic World 4 and was pleasantly surprised with a special welcome from Jeff Goldblum. In a video message, the actor extended his warm greetings to Scarlett as she becomes a part of the Jurassic family. While appearing on the Today show, Scarlett was surprised with a message from Jeff along with some valuable advice.

“Dr. Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum,” he conveyed in a video message showcased on the program. He further added, “Here is my message for you. I am confident that Scarlett will succeed. Stay away from being eaten, unless that’s your intention.”

Jeff concluded by blowing a kiss towards Johansson and expressed affection saying, “I love you.”

Scarlett, who was a guest on the show to promote her romantic comedy Fly Me to the Moon, was delighted by Jeff’s reference to his famous line from Jurassic Park, “Life finds a way.”

Jeff portrayed Dr. Ian Malcolm in Steven Spielberg’s original Jurassic Park production in 1993 and reprised the role in three subsequent sequels, including 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion.

The actress has always been vocal about her admiration for the franchise. In recent times, Scarlett Johansson revealed that she will be taking the lead role in the next Jurassic World installment, directed by Gareth Edwards, known for Godzilla and Rogue One, and the screenplay penned by David Koepp as per a report by Variety. “I am a huge Jurassic Park enthusiast,” she remarked, adding, “It is one of the earliest movies I can recall watching in theaters. The memory is vivid. It was transformative and mind-blowing. I am beyond thrilled.”

The fourth installment of Jurassic World, which will narrate a completely fresh story distinct from the initial Jurassic World trilogy featuring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, boasts an “astonishingly incredible” script, as per Scarlett.

Each of the three Jurassic World films generated over 1 billion dollars at the global box office. In the upcoming film, Scarlett will take on a significant role alongside Jonathan Bailey, David Iacono, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.

Jurassic World 4 will be filmed at diverse locations such as Thailand, studios in Malta, and the UK. Steven Spielberg is handling the executive production of the film through Amblin Entertainment. Jurassic Park producer Frank Marshall is also making a comeback, alongside his regular producing collaborator Patrick Crowley, as reported by Variety.
